World Class - 850 Strong
Celebrating Glasgow's 850th Birthday, with active850 and Glasgow Sport.
This summer we are preparing for Taekwondo International Championships @ Braehead Arena 19-20th July 2025.
Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a world champion?
Come along to our classes to get an insight into the sport side of tae kwon-do which is a fun and dynamic way to keep fit for all the family. we work with p1 upwards to adults.
The classes are split into 2 sessions costing £3
5pm: for p1 -p6
6pm: for p7 upwards
We will cover fitness, padwork, sparring, patterns, mindset and nutrition. There will be a healthy tuck available at the end of class.
At the end there will be a participation Certificate and Mini competition with medals to be won!
The skills base will be a beginner and a great way to try out taekwondo.
if you have experience or would like to return or try out a new martial art this is great! you will be made most welcome.
you don't need any special kit to participate just wear joggers and t-shirt and bring water.
Caregivers can remain in hall during sessions.
Fully qualified Instructor, 2nd Dan Black Belt.
